I was asked to make this mural by the bar/restaurant 'Blue Bayou' located in the heart of the city Zwolle. Because it is 'Hanzejaar' all the cities that are part of the 'Hanze', celebrate by showing the rich history of trading in the Netherlands. I made this mural and the design to showcase 'Hanze' in Zwolle in it's prime. The 'Rode Toren' is brought back to life again in the mural, as well as the 'Kogschepen' and the 'Kraen.' It's a wonderful combination of Zwolle then and now!
