I wanted to make an illustration about how we treat insects more like products or nuisances than a crucial species for the survival of the planet. The insect population is decreasing with high velocity and we seem to make everything worse somehow. Remember when you had flies and mosquitoes on your windscreen? It seems like ages ago since I'd seen that. Maybe we need to decrease our involvement with nature and give nature a coupon for a weekend spa to wash away all toxins so nature can dehumanize.
